Ensuring Our Service Continuity To You

Despite the ongoing changes the UK is encountering with coronavirus, the Shipleys LLP team would like to reassure our clients that we have measures in place to maintain service continuity.

Updated 2 July 2021

Our key objective is to protect the wellbeing of our people, our clients and our contacts whilst ensuring we continue to deliver a quality service.

In line with Government guidelines, we have undertaken risk assessments on our premises and introduced measures to ensure they are covid-secure for our employees.  This includes adhering to social distancing rules and required cleaning procedures.  We have new working practices in place to help keep everyone safe.

We are mindful of the Government’s new encouragement for people to work from home where they can, but also that some people’s personal circumstances make homeworking a challenge.

As our employees’ wellbeing is important to us, our offices are open for those staff who feel they need to be on site, or who need to use the office resources to do their work effectively in the covid-secure environment we have created. Those staff who are comfortable continuing to work from home, will continue to do so.

Making the most of technology

Over the past year, our systems and operations have proven to work well in this regard and include facilities for online meetings and conference calls to enable us to deliver timely advice when our clients need it.

For the foreseeable future, and to minimise the risk of infection to all concerned, we will not be holding face to face meetings at our offices or in other locations with external visitors.  We will continue to conduct meetings online.

All planned marketing and social events will remain postponed until the current social distancing measures are lifted.  We have however, reconfigured our Godalming Business Club to work as a zoom-based event, and this is proving popular.

Our staff continue to be available, blending working remotely or being in the office, and please do contact them. It’s very much business as usual.

How to contact us

Our main phone lines are being covered during office hours, although they can experience busy periods.  To get through quickly to your main Shipleys contact, please either:

We also have specialist teams ready to help if your organisation is struggling with disruptions to its own team make-up. These include HR advisory, payroll, bookkeeping (including experts in many online software packages) and accounts production specialists.

In addition, the Shipleys’ team are closely monitoring the financial measures the Government is putting in place to help businesses weather the dramatic economic conditions which have arisen.  We have set up this page with an overview and are regularly updating it, but do contact us if you need advice.

This page will be updated as any further developments emerge in response to Government announcements.  In the meantime, please be assured that we are here to help.

If you do have any concerns or questions though, please do not hesitate to contact me.
