I studied accounting and finance at University and this lead me to finding a graduate role at Shipleys LLP. I knew I wanted to work in a medium-sized firm, as this would allow more exposure to different areas of accounting. I also felt a firm this size would value me more as a person.
At Shipleys, I studied the ACA qualification through Kaplan. Since passing my ACA I have also found an interest in the film and TV sector which Shipleys specialises in. This has helped me to progress in the firm and I have now gone on to become an Audit Supervisor.
I like that Shipleys gives so much support for prospective trainees in their studies and provides a good environment for success.
