Aim: "Creating additional value for entrepreneurial clients."
Most entertaining deal or case: "Achieving substantial proceeds (about twice the client’s own valuation!) for the sale of a business which, using traditional valuation methods, had limited intrinsic value. The business is a continuing success and is now part of a £40m group."
Proudest professional moments: "Organising a business turnaround for a major steel trading business, including co-ordinating the business downsizing, arranging finance and new equity for the resurgent new business."
What I like about my job: "Tough negotiations and successful deals."
Interests outside work: Shane is a keen competitive golfer, unenthusiastic runner and gym member.
