Audit GRADUATE TRAINEE

We are an ambitious and growing firm of Chartered Accountants and Professional Business advisers, with offices in both London and Surrey. An opportunity is now available for an Audit Graduate Trainee to join the firm as an Audit Junior. The successful candidate will have a degree, ideally at 2:1 level but we will also consider 2:2 with mitigating circumstances.

The Role

Chartered students enter a three-year training contract where they are offered a structured programme of study leading to qualification and to further promotion. All students are individually monitored and practical experience is wide-ranging, offering genuine responsibility and the chance of personal achievement.

Assignments will include both audit and accounts work, with some being in the office and others at client premises.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting team with audit and accounts work.
• Carrying out accounting processes and controls to ensure the accurate production of information and document work performed to ensure appropriate audit trails are maintained.
• Providing guidance and ensuring appropriate accounting practices are adopted in the production of financial information.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements for limited companies.
• Preparation of partnerships and sole traders accounts.
• Maintaining and developing client relationships, both written communication and conducting face-to-face meetings.
