Ensuring Our Service Continuity To You

Despite the dramatic changes the world is encountering with coronavirus, the Shipleys LLP team would like to reassure our clients that we have implemented measures to ensure service continuity.

Our key objective is to protect the wellbeing of our people, our clients and our contacts whilst ensuring we continue to deliver a quality service.

The Government has recently published guidelines for businesses on how to ensure their premises are COVID-19 secure when re-opening.  The first step in those recommendations is that businesses should continue to operate a 'work from home' approach where they can. The Government has also urged workers to avoid public transport in their daily commute where possible.

In view of this and our objective to keep our people, clients and contacts safe, the Shipleys team will continue to work remotely.  Our systems and operations are working well in this regard and include facilities for online meetings and conference calls to enable us to deliver timely advice when our clients need it.

Needless to say, all planned marketing and social events will remain postponed until the current social distancing measures are lifted.

Our staff continue to be available, albeit remotely, and please do contact them. It’s very much business as usual.

 

Planning for the next phases

In their recent guidance, the Government indicated a potential timetable for the phased lifting of lock-down measures.  These include recommendations for maintaining social distancing and what constitutes as COVID-19 safe working conditions within the workplace. We are currently reviewing these in line with the Shipleys offices and preparing our premises, processes and procedures accordingly. 

Given our premises' locations and our staff's reliance on public transport to get to work, we will continue to operate remotely until Government guidelines indicate otherwise.  We do not want to put anyone at risk, nor do we wish to place additional burden on the public transport system during the pandemic.

 

How to contact us

Our main phone lines are being covered during office hours, although they can experience busy periods.  To get through quickly to your main Shipleys contact, please either:

  • Call their direct phone number or mobile if you know it
  • Email them directly and they will call you back. Obviously things are very busy at the moment but we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as we can
  • Email our general office emails and we will forward the message on to one of the team who will give you a call. Email - London: advice@shipleys.com   Godalming: godalming@shipleys.com

 

Can we help?

We also have specialist teams ready to help if your organisation is struggling with disruptions to its own team make-up. These include HR advisory, payroll, bookkeeping (including experts in many online software packages) and accounts production specialists.

In addition, the Shipleys’ team are closely monitoring the financial measures the Government is putting in place to help businesses weather the dramatic economic conditions which have arisen.  We have set up this page with an overview and are regularly updating it, but do contact us if you need advice.
