Work and clients: Nick specialises in audit and accounts for owner managed businesses, charities, not-for-profit organisations and pension schemes. Nick trained with a wide ranging client base, however now focuses on these more specialised sectors. He has retained a small portfolio of clients from other industries, including retail and digital media. He has developed an understanding and knowledge of the charity and pension sector, and assists Sarah Leek in this work.
The route to Shipleys: Nick graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a BA in French and Economics in 2011. Afterwards, he joined a charity specialising in expanding access to clean water in West Africa, and the Financial Inclusion Forum, an organisation focused on microfinance and financial inclusion. Nick joined Shipleys in 2013 and qualified in 2016.
Memberships: Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. Nick is also a member of Shipleys' audit technical committee.
Interests outside work: Outside of work Nick is the director of a children’s nursery and has a keen interest in the charity sector, particularly in the areas of microfinance and conservation. Nick also enjoys music, travelling, and skiing.
