Shipleys and Caple support Clever Company’s growth plan

Working with Caple, we have helped Clever Company secure a £2m long-term loan to achieve their growth plans

Working with SME growth credit specialist, Caple, Shipleys is delighted to have supported Cheshire-based Clever Company in successfully securing growth funding in the form of a £2m fully unsecured loan.
 
Clever Company is a designer and seller of inflatable hot tubs and outdoor recreation equipment. The business sells to leading retailers in the UK, with strong relationships in place that present an exciting opportunity for international expansion into Europe and USA. Clever Company has already grown significantly under the guidance of an experienced CEO and management team since being acquired 2018, however the current international growth opportunity needed flexible, long-term financing support.
 
Shipleys worked with Caple to help them understand Clever Company’s growth opportunity and financing need, and deliver the capital required. Caple supported the funding request with a long-term, fully unsecured loan which allows Clever Company to invest and focus on growth rather than just debt repayments.
